Scholarship Benefits

• Scholarship recipients may select funding for one of the following:
  • BOMI Designation Course with BOMA Boston or BOMI Online
  • BOMA Foundations Of Real Estate Management Course with BOMA Boston
  • CMCP Certification with CRECI
  • BOMA International Annual Conference Registration - held annually in June/July
• Scholarship recipients will receive the following:
  • 1-year complimentary BOMA Boston membership for the following year
  • Complimentary admission to the TOBY & Industry Awards for the scholarship presentation
  • Recognition on the BOMA Boston website and social media

Important Dates & Deadlines

• Application Submissions Open: August 9
• Submission Deadline: October 31
• Scholarship Notification: Mid-November
• Scholarship Presentation: November 17 at the 2022 TOBY & Industry Awards at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport
• Scholarship funding applies to the 2023 calendar year

Eligibility Requirements

• Industry or Affiliate with 1-5 years of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) work experience​
• Applicant's company must be a member of BOMA Boston
• Interest in pursuing a career in CRE
• Qualified diverse candidates and candidates with financial need will be given special consideration

  3. Describe why you are deserving of this scholarship - including career/industry education accomplishments and/or challenges including financial need or hardships
• Letter of Recommendation - from a Professional Reference (maximum 250 words)
  • Describe why applicant is an exemplary candidate for consideration
  • Include relationship to applicant
